This tool is extremely helpful, both with the planning, implementation, and iterative design of informal learning experiences with STEM topics. It is well researched and fills a hole in our education system; with much emphasis being placed on STEM curriculum, there is very little in terms of resources for educators to evaluate and enhance these popular and well funded programs. DOS observation tool meets the needs of those educators and creates a more meaningful learning experience for all students.
