Validity: The Emerging STEM Learning Activation items were presumed to measure essentially only one latent trait—Emerging STEM Learning Activation. A confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) with the WLSMV estimator (i.e., an estimator for modeling categorical or ordinal data) was conducted to assess the unidimensionality assumption. The purpose was to know whether the set of items measure what it purports to measure. All of 14 items generated significantly positive factor loadings, ranging from 0.582 to 1.167.STEM Criteria
